One of the most exciting and challenging project I have worked on was user interface design for software startup Trace Matrix.

The startup is building software that will facilitate project creation process, associated with multiple compliance issues and approval from FDA, documentation, requirements. The software should help engineers to go through the development process easier and to streamline development. Trace Matrix is a future desktop application that will offer requirement management, test management, source code management and FMEA (Failure Mode & Effects Analysis). It is tailored for medical devise industry for now with the plan to expand into aerospace and military in the future.

My role as a designer was to ideate and decide on product interface architecture and to build a prototype of this software to hand out to backend development team. I was responsible for creating a workable workflow for the potential users, helped to transform ideas into design, created UI library, crafted icons, made typography and color palette choices that support company’s brand.

I built this product prototype with Adobe XD and additionally used Illustrator for interface iconography.

The project is constantly evolving, new features are being added, some are dismissed, so this is not a final version yet.
